About Joyce
Joyce began her internet sales career by selling all types of craft supplies on Yahoo Auctions in 1999. These supplies had come from the craft supply store (Hooked on Crafts) that she used to own. After about a year, she decided shut her site down to focus on family. When she started back up again in 2005, she decided to specialize in hard-to-find craft leaftlets, booklets, and magazines. Some of her booklets date back to the 1930's and she often carries cool MOD era booklets as well as styles of the 50's and the 1970's!. All told, she accumulated close to 900 positive feedback reviews on Yahoo alone!
When Yahoo Auctions retired, she was forced to find a new home for her patterns. She's currently selling on Online Auctions, Ecrater, and BluJay. She carries several doll-related leaflets featuring patterns to crochet doll outfits - not just for fashion dolls but for regular baby dolls as well. Sometimes she has patterns in stock to make knitted toys and dolls suitable for infants, too. In the photos below, we see two examples of patterns she has for crocheted doll gowns. These patterns are vintage from the 1950's!
Joyce lives in Ohio with her husband. She has three adorable grandchildren whom she loves to spoil!
Our Recommendation
I first met Joyce on Yahoo auctions a few years ago. She had a ton of great patterns for cross stitch and knit and crochet, several of which were vintage. I bought about 10 leaflets the first time I dealt with her. She was so friendly and professional, and her prices were so reasonable, (plus she shipped very quickly), that I came back for more. In no time we became friends and discovered that we had quite a lot in common. We've been friends ever since. I have no doubt that you're experience with Joyce will be every bit as pleasant.
